Letter from Monika:
It is with a heavy heart that I have made a decision to move in a different direction. I wanted to take a quick moment and thank the CLPVC family for allowing me to be a part of your life and your pet's care for all these years. It was a difficult decision and I will miss you all! Be safe, be healthy and be blessed.
NOTICE TO CLPVC PATIENTS:
We are taking every precaution, and cleaning up to standards to keep everyone safe and healthy. We may be limiting the hours or closing the clinic due to lack of appointments, but will check messages regularly and can check the emails remotely; available to answer any questions, fill prescriptions or food orders. We do have the ability to take orders over the phone, pay by phone and leave your products outside for pick up. The honor system has always worked. We all have to be a bit more patient for the next week or so. We hope your family is safe and healthy.
We are proud to announce that we have an online store! With a touch of a keystroke, you can order your pet's prescriptions directly from us! They will save you time with easy shipping right to your door!
To begin the process, simply log in at clpvc.vetsfirstchoice.com. Your request will be emailed to our office for approval. We check these requests several times daily. Once your requests is approved, your prescription gets shipped directly to you.
The microchip is a device used for permanent identification for your pet. It is about the size of a grain of rice and is placed under the skin between the shoulder blades.
All veterinary clinics and animal shelters have universal scanners that are able to read the chip's number.
It is important for you to check your pet's mouth on a routine basis and we also check the mouth when you bring your pet in for an annual exam.
If left unchecked, bacteria from the mouth can enter the bloodstream and travel to the lungs, heart, kidneys, liver & even the brain, starting infections there and seriously compromising the health of your pet.
